Lisa A. Marovich, Ph.D.

Lisa A. Marovich is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Environmental Solutions practice. Dr. Marovich has 20 years of experience in forensic and litigation consulting. Her case work focuses on historical research and analysis, as well as providing litigation support and consulting services for public and private clients, law firms and government entities.

Dr. Marovich’s recent work relates to issues surrounding environmental contamination and product liability. She has experience in cases that involve tracing the historical use and state of knowledge associated with various chemicals, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (“PFAS”), polychlorinated biphenyls (“PCBs”) and trichloroethylene (“TCE”). Dr. Marovich works closely with experts, counsel and clients in preparation for expert reports, deposition and trial testimony. Her case work has covered a wide range of industries, including aerospace, chemicals, construction materials, defense, medical devices, metals and mining, office products, railroads, real estate, semiconductors, telecommunications and transportation services. She has worked on antitrust matters; bellwether cases; class actions; government investigations; intellectual property disputes; liability and damages analyses; and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining the Environmental Solutions practice, Dr. Marovich consulted with FTI Consulting’s Dispute Advisory Services. She also worked as an Associate Director at Berkeley Research Group (“BRG”); a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon; a Managing Economist at LECG; and a Senior Economist at Economic Analysis, LLC. Before starting her consulting career, Dr. Marovich taught courses in economic and business history at the University of California, Los Angeles (“UCLA”), and Loyola Marymount University. She earned her Ph.D. in Economic and Business History from UCLA.
