Marcin Smalec is a forensic accounting and dispute advisory expert with extensive experience in the quantification of loss in the context of commercial disputes. Marcin has worked on a broad range of matters across the Australian court system. He has experience with international mandates across Asia and Europe, as well as alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including arbitrations and expert determinations.
Marcin advises clients throughout all stages of disputes, in both independent expert and consulting capacities, from the early assessment of claims through to expert evidence and settlement discussions. He has been involved in the preparation of numerous expert reports addressing complex accounting and financial issues, specialising in the interpretation of financial and accounting information and the quantification of economic loss. He is recognised for delivering clear, practical and compelling analyses of contentious financial questions.
