Mathias Massow

Mathias Massow is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Mr. Massow specializes in strategy, large-scale transformation and performance improvement in the financial services sector, supporting financial institutions as they define strategic direction, translate ambitions into executable transformation programs and deliver measurable improvements in growth, cost efficiency and organizational effectiveness.

Mr. Massow has more than 12 years of management consulting experience across the Middle East and Europe. He has advised leading banks, financial services groups, development finance institutions and public-sector entities on corporate and business unit strategy, strategy implementation, cost optimization, operating model transformation and customer-led growth. His work spans institution-wide transformation programs and targeted initiatives across retail and corporate banking, digital financial services and development finance.

At FTI Consulting, Mr. Massow works closely with boards and executive management teams to develop strategies, mobilize organizations and establish the governance, capabilities and delivery structures required for successful implementation. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he was a Principal at Strategy& in the Middle East and spent eight years with Boston Consulting Group in Germany. He holds an M.Sc. in Finance and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Muenster School of Business and Economics.
