Nick Brooks

Nick Brooks is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Nick is a member of the Economic and Financial Consulting practice and is based in London.

Nick has more than 15 years' experience in applying economic and financial expertise to complex regulatory, competition, strategic and valuation issues across a range of sectors. These sectors include digital platforms and payment systems, electricity, gas, telecoms and airports. In recent years, Nick's practice has focused on the digital platforms and payment systems sector - supporting firms in their engagement with Government and regulators, and navigating competition issues and disputes. This includes leading FTI Consulting's work supporting a large payment systems operator through a multiyear regulatory market review process. He also has experience preparing expert witness evidence for commercial litigation and arbitration involving matters of valuation and damages assessments.

Nick has also previously worked extensively in healthcare economics, where he developed particular expertise in pricing and large-scale economic modelling of local health economies, as well as working on high-profile acute services reconfigurations.

Nick is a CFA Charterholder. He received a first-class M.Sc. with Honours in Physics from the University of Bristol and subsequently a Distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics.
