Nick Griffiths

Nick Griffiths is an experienced finance professional with more than 17 years’ experience. He has been based in the Middle East since 2017.

As a consultant, Nick is experienced in working with corporates and their lenders, developing and reviewing business plans and creating common information platforms, including independent business reviews (“IBRs”). Additionally, he has advised clients on short-term liquidity management and assessment of restructuring options.

Having previously managed an FP&A team for a global technology business, Nick adds value in engagements requiring integrated financial statement modelling, short-term cash flow forecasting, business planning and business plan review, as well as interim management and treasury support.

Nick has worked across sectors including healthcare, construction, manufacturing, offshore services, power and utilities, real estate, technology, retail and aviation.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Nick spent most of his career with the Big 4 in London and in the UAE.

Relevant Experience:

• Provided IBR and creditor advisory services in respect of lenders’ exposure to a listed real estate company in restructuring
• Led the IBR of a steel manufacturer in financial distress on behalf of a syndicate of lenders
• Advised lenders on their exposure to a diversified steel and engineering services group undergoing a Financial Restructuring Procedure (“FRP”) in KSA
• Provided IBR, business plan review and creditor advisory services to a syndicate of lenders with respect to their exposure to a distressed retainer
• Served as lead financial model advisor to a KSA giga project’s strategic planning team to support analysis on fundraising options
• Led the implementation of a rapid roll-out, short-term cash flow forecast process across a complex group with approximately 250 entities
• Partnered with the operating companies (“OpCos”) of a utility provider to design a cash flow forecasting process to quantify monthly funding requirements
• Worked with the CFO of PE-backed SaaS player to develop the business plan supporting the refinancing and upsizing of its debt facility
