About Nicole
Nicole Horton provides restructuring, strategy and transaction solutions to companies, boards of directors, creditors and investors, working with public and private companies. Ms. Horton has industry experience in technology, retail and consumer products, manufacturing, banking and financial services and real estate, among other sectors. She is also a member of FTI Capital Advisors, LLC.
Ms. Horton’s clients range from small- and medium-sized companies to complex global enterprises. She has significant experience providing advisory services, including liquidity management, business transformation, forecasting and budgeting, third-party negotiations, debt restructuring, M&A and contract reviews. In addition, she has developed strategic alternatives, assessed operational resiliency and managed acquisitions and divestitures.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Horton was a Managing Director in Ernst & Young LLP’s strategy and transaction practice and was part of the restructuring team and the Financial Services Office. She began her career as a commercial banker, with experience in trade finance, asset-based lending, foreign exchange trading, commercial loans and loan workouts.
Ms. Horton has been a speaker on industry and restructuring topics at regional and national conferences and has published a number of articles. She has presented to and worked with regulatory agencies and industry groups and has been a featured speaker at business roundtables. Ms. Horton also participates in various community service and diversity initiatives and is an international affairs advisory board member for the University of Kansas.

- Supported a Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) function for a software company; included transaction and financial audit-related matters
