Philippe Törnquist

Philippe Törnquist is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Transaction Services practice. With more than a decade of experience, Philippe advises private equity firms and strategic investors on transactions. Having worked across the firm’s London and Paris offices, he has supported more than 60 financial due diligence engagements across Europe and Africa, advising clients on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. 

Philippe advises clients on mid- and large-cap transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, buy-and-build strategies, cross-border transactions and complex situations. He helps identify and assess financial issues that may affect investment decisions, valuations or negotiations. Philippe’s approach focuses due diligence efforts on the most significant issues, providing clients with a clear view of financial performance, key risks and value creation levers. He is committed to translating key due diligence findings into practical insights that inform transaction structuring and commercial negotiations. 

Philippe has worked across a wide range of sectors, including industrials, business services, education, retail and healthcare. He also has experience across a broad range of business models, from asset-light service businesses to capital-intensive industrial companies.

Philippe began his career within FTI Consulting’s Transaction Services practice in London, where he advised clients for five years. In this role, he helped establish the team’s private equity offering. His background also includes three years as an entrepreneur building industrial businesses in Central Africa, as well as an earlier role in the telecommunications sector in Sweden.
