Raffaele Fiorella

Over Raffaele Fiorella’s career, he has taken the role of chief restructuring officer (CRO), managing a number of consolidation, restructuring or liquidation processes.

Raffaele’s experience includes cost rationalisation, business plan design and implementation, and liquidity management for mid-cap and large international corporations, mainly in the retail, consumer products and industrial goods sectors. Raffaele has also worked on a number of financial operations projects in a wide range of roles which have included providing M&A, business valuations and fairness opinions.

Raffaele is a chartered accountant, statutory auditor, and expert witness at the Court of Milan. He has held various offices in several companies as board member and as statutory auditor.

Before joining FTI Consulting, Raffaele was Partner in Erre Quadro and Of Counsel at a global business advisory firm. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at DGPA & Co, where he spent more than 15 years, implementing turnaround programmes for distressed and underperforming companies in complex situations.

• Chief Deputy Restructuring Officer in the financial restructuring of a major Italian construction Group
• Chief Financial Officer Group in the financial restructuring of a leading Italian industrial and civil plant engineering company
• Chief Restructuring Officer and Chief Financial Officer in the financial restructuring of a major Italian MMR Group
• Chief Restructuring Officer in the financial restructuring of a multi-brand fashion company
• Chief Restructuring Officer in the implementation of the economic and financial restructuring plan, plus co-ordination of the bond repayment process and corporate restructuring and financial planning for a leading manufacturer of wood-based panel products
• Worked on plan certifications pursuant to article 67, 182 bis, 160, etc. of the Bankruptcy Law of several industrial companies
• Led several M&A in various industrial sectors
