About Stephanie
Stephanie P. Dorsey is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Business Intelligence team within the Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment. Ms. Dorsey specializes in leadership coaching, security program management and intelligence analysis, with experience spanning the national security, defense and intelligence sectors. She brings deep expertise in cross-functional team leadership, executive development and crisis management, helping organizations strengthen operational resilience and strategic decision-making.
Ms. Dorsey has led complex initiatives across the Central Intelligence Agency, Department of Homeland Security and Defense Intelligence Agency. Her work includes directing enterprise-level security programs, managing multimillion-dollar budgets and guiding global teams in high-stakes environments. She is recognized for her ability to integrate intelligence collection and analysis with practical risk mitigation strategies, advancing organizational performance and national security objectives.
Before joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Dorsey built a distinguished 28-year career in federal service, where she shaped policies and operational frameworks addressing counterproliferation, insider threats and supply chain risk. She has collaborated extensively with interagency partners and private industry leaders to enhance information sharing, governance and continuity planning. Her background is supported by advanced leadership education from Harvard University, the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and the FBI Domestic Security Executive Academy, as well as an M.A. in Russian and East European Studies from The George Washington University.
Ms. Dorsey is an active mentor and thought leader in the intelligence community. She serves as a guest lecturer at the National Intelligence University, The George Washington University and the College of the Holy Cross, and is a senior champion for Women in Intelligence.
