Sumeet Kaul

Sumeet Kaul is a manufacturing and supply chain transformation leader with close to 15 years of experience in deploying large, complex global supply chain process and technology solutions for both continuous and discrete manufacturing clients across North America, Latin America and Europe.

Mr. Kaul’s experience and areas of expertise include manufacturing cost reduction, plant productivity improvement, inventory and materials management, sales and operations planning (“S&OP”) and integrated business planning (“IBP”) process deployment, the assurance of supply and supply resilience capability deployment, and maintenance and asset productivity improvement.

Mr. Kaul has served manufacturing clients across the automotive, aviation, construction, consumer products, energy and industrials sectors. His transformation work with clients has resulted in more than $2 billion in EBITDA and working capital benefits.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Sumeet spent 13 years as a manufacturing strategy and operations leader within Deloitte Consulting’s supply chain and network operations practice.

Relevant Experience:

• Delivered value to clients including more than $50 million in EBITDA improvement for a cement manufacturer; more than $1 billion in working capital improvement for a major U.S.-based airline; $100 million in EBITDA improvement for a major earthmoving equipment manufacturer
• Advised major players in the automotive industry, including Caterpillar, Volkswagen and Ford
• Advised global airlines, including United Airlines and American Airlines
• Advised major consumer products brands such as Coca-Cola
• Advised clients in the industrials, energy and construction space, including Tesoro (now Marathon Petroleum), Circor, Flowserve, Mosaic Corporation, Cummins, Atmus Filtration, Watco Companies, Garlock Industries, Argos USA, KONE Elevators, Ball Corporation, Johnson Controls and Dover Corporation
