Vincent Taruoura

Vincent Taruoura is one of the leaders of the FTI Delta Gaming & Esports practice. He has over 12 years of experience in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East advising some of the largest Entertainment & Media Companies and Private Equity Funds

Vincent is a strategy and transaction specialist focusing on achieving value creation for his clients. He has developed deep expertise after successfully delivering 80+ engagements in strategy, transaction support, integration & carve-out, commercial / vendor due diligence, organizational transformation, strategic planning and business plan development.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Vincent was a Project Leader in the M&E practice of L.E.K., in the U.S. and Europe where he focused on strategy projects and due diligence for major Media and Entertainment companies. While at L.E.K., he also served as an M&A advisor for two years for the French Public Sector Investment Bank (“Banque Publique d’Investissement”).

Vincent holds an M.S. in Strategy and Management from ESCP Europe and a B.S. in Economics from Paris Dauphine University. He is fully fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Relevant Experience:

• Spearheaded the design, deployment and activation of an Authority for Gaming & Esports in the MENA region
• Supported a major government entity in MENA in the creation of a global, scalable gaming hub by providing strategic guidance on a full set of offerings, delineating key differentiating factors, go-to-market and activation plan
• Managed the PMO for the integration of a U.S. gaming company acquired by a media & entertainment conglomerate
• Designed an enterprise-wide transformation program for a large media conglomerate, focused on organizational redesign and cost reduction
• Supported the merger and integration of two of the largest Spanish-language broadcasters in North America
• Led numerous buy- and sell-side commercial diligence reports for gaming, visual effects, media services, creative post-production and production services companies
• Developed a new business plan to assess the impact of COVID-19 on revenue, EBITDA and cash flow; designed a transformation plan to improve the company’s cost structure with a focus on reducing SG&A and OPEX
• Provided daily investment and strategic support to the Mid and Large-cap investment team of a large Sovereign Wealth Fund
