Justin Eisenband is a Senior Managing Director in the FTI Consulting’s TMT practice. For nearly 15 years, Mr. Eisenband has provided financial, strategic and operational advisory services to companies across various industries.
During his time at FTI Consulting, Mr. Eisenband has worked with companies and capital partners on a wide range of engagements involving strategy, performance improvement, transaction advisory and merger integration. Working within a variety of sectors, Mr. Eisenband brings expertise on a range of projects involving growth strategy, cost transformation, analytics development, operational improvements and organizational design.
Recently, Mr. Eisenband has worked with several companies to help support revenue growth strategies, profitability improvement and operational efficiencies. He provides expertise on enterprise transformation, supporting companies in driving value creation through sales effectiveness, cost optimization and organizational and process transformation.
Mr. Eisenband has worked with several major companies over the last few years including Google, Dow Jones, Sylvamo, John Wiley & Sons, Paramount, FOX, Ziff Davis, Nextstar, Gannett, IAC, Hearst, Conde Nast, McClatchy, Lee Enterprises, Recurrent Ventures, Trusted Media Brands, Arena Group and National Public Radio.
Relevant Experience:
- Led all general and administrative (“G&A”) functions, including finance, HR, IT and legal, as Interim Chief Financial Officer for a media and technology company, overseeing budgeting processes, investor communications and profitability improvement initiatives for consumer applications and advertising technology
- Identified and drove cost reduction opportunities across selling, general and administrative (“SG&A”) functions in a global industrials company, working alongside the organization to more than double savings across sales, marketing, supply chain, operations, IT, finance, HR and legal
- Assessed enterprise-wide cost-saving opportunities for a research and educational service provider, achieving functional savings of more than $100 million and recommending product, customer and geographic rationalization to maximize profitability
- Redesigned organizational structure and workflows for a national television broadcaster, partnering with the company to reimagine news gathering and production processes, resulting in significant savings and operational efficiencies
- Developed a strategic plan for a newspaper group in North America, leveraging proprietary print-to-digital transformation models to guide the company toward reduced print frequency and a shift to digital operations
- Performed a comprehensive diagnostic and led the implementation of cost optimization initiatives for an advertising and public relations agency, achieving savings across operational and back-office functions
