Kumar Padisetti

Kumar Padisetti leads FTI Consulting’s Energy practice in Australia and is a Senior Managing Director within the Economic Consulting segment. Kumar has extensive experience advising on energy matters, including demand and forecast prices, infrastructure development and energy transition. His expertise includes M&A, carbon markets, commercial and financial analysis, market modelling, market disruption and unregulated revenue growth. Additionally, Kumar assists clients with cost reduction and growth strategies, portfolio analysis, policy advice, risk management and strategic positioning.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Kumar was a partner in the financial advisory practice at Deloitte Access Economics, where he built an energy advisory practice focused on assisting clients navigating Australasia's energy markets. At Deloitte, he also led the future of energy and renewables practice for Asia Pacific.

Preceding this role, Kumar was a partner at Saha International, at which he was responsible for the energy and resources practice in Australasia. Prior to consulting, Kumar held various senior positions with large energy players in Australia and New Zealand and has built a strong reputation as a strategic advisor to senior leaders in the energy sector.
