Omnicom pursued the largest acquisition in advertising history when it announced its intent to acquire Interpublic Group (“IPG”) in December 2024. To make this complex transaction work required a unique combination of deep functional expertise in transaction fundamentals, including finance, accounting, competition law and economics and strategic communications, all under high scrutiny and intense media attention.
