Kristine Parisi Explains the Value of USEEIO Model for Estimating Emissions
Washington, D.C., Aug. 8, 2025 — Senior Consultant Kristine Parisi explains the value of the U.S. Environmentally-Extended Input-Output (USEEIO) model for companies estimating emissions in an interview with The New York Times. Ms. Parisi said the database, which the Environmental Protection Agency said it would stop updating, is popular because it integrates with spending data that companies can already access. “It’s a very great, very granular, very highly reviewed data set,” said Ms. Parisi.
