Our Role
- Data Strategy Development: FTI Consulting interviewed more than 40 business stakeholders, data owners and IT personnel to understand data usage across the organization and synthesized findings into a recommended enterprise data strategy. Afterward, our professionals combined findings from data estate mapping exercises into recommended future state data architecture, including data model and element structures, ownership and responsibilities and a domain-driven governance model.
- Master Data Management: Our team designed the data models, governance and processes for the client’s master data domains and delivered a turnkey solution design, vendor assessment and operating model for the client’s master data management function.
- Data Estate Mapping: Our team developed a data catalog and relationship diagrams for key data elements across customer, consumer, product and employee domains, mapping critical data stores to priority business processes. Our experts reviewed more than 200 operational reports, categorized metrics and mapped thousands of data fields across Salesforce, MS Great Plains, customer ticketing systems and other operational data stores.
- Targeted Systems Assessment: FTI Consulting performed an assessment of the current-state finance and HR systems and capabilities and provided recommendations for enhancement or replacement of systems to align with strategic goals.
