Mr. Hall has experience advising on complex financial and operational restructurings in a wide range of industries and has corporate experience as finance director of a private equity backed technology company.
Mr. Hall has been involved on a wide range of UK and European restructuring projects across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, including consumer finance, transportation, retail and consumer products. His engagements have varied from business reviews, contingency planning and debt restructurings to operational restructurings and turnaround.
Most recently, Mr. Hall played a leading role in the refinancing of a leading UK non-prime motor finance business. The project involved the restructuring of three bilateral structured finance facilities ranging from £125 million to £145 million and securing the commitment of the three lenders to support future lending.
Mr. Hall also played a key role in the business review of a major UK High street footwear retailer on behalf of its senior lender. Following a recommendation to exit the business, Mr. Hall was involved in the marketing of the business and subsequent successful sale via a strategic insolvency.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Hall was a finance director at Global Freight Exchange, a leading provider of technology solutions to the global air freight industry. He led all sales and client service activities, as well as all aspects of the legal and finance functions. Before that, Mr. Hall worked in KPMG’s Restructuring practice. His experience includes a leading role advising a UK-based footwear manufacturer on planning and implementing profit improvement and cash generation initiatives, including the off shoring of the group’s manufacturing operations. The project yielded significant cost savings for the group, which enabled it to secure continued support from its financial stakeholders.
Mr. Hall is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He holds a B.A. in natural sciences from Cambridge University.
