Elizabeth Adams is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. She is a member of the Strategic Communications’ Energy practice and is based in London.
Elizabeth has 15 years’ experience in the energy and real estate sectors. Before joining FTI Consulting, she led communications and external affairs at challenger utility UK Power Reserve. Prior to this, she headed communications for her former client Canary Wharf Group, also supporting its tech accelerator ‘Level39’ and smart cities programme ‘Cognicity’. Elizabeth then spent five years at Brunswick Group where she advised BP on the Deepwater Horizon crisis, Cairn Energy, Vitol and Derwent London and co-founded the initiative 'Next Generation' to help young energy professionals bolster their industry network and knowledge.
Elizabeth is a former financial journalist at Argus media and WSJ, spending three years in Oslo as Norway Correspondent covering Scandinavian energy and commodity markets and equities. Specialisms include crisis, corporate responsibility, thought leadership and the Nordics. She’s a graduate of Oxford University and a postgraduate of the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies.
