Garrett Fultz is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Houston. He is the Global Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) lead within Asset Lifecycle Management services.
Mr. Fultz has 19 years of experience – more than 10 of which have been specifically focused on transforming the way organizations select, plan, manage, build, commission, maintain, operate, and decommission their assets. His innovative, hands on approach to delivering transformation included serving in key project roles on these construction projects – both capital and maintenance – allowing him to develop a deep understanding of key challenges to implement transformational solutions.
Mr. Fultz leads a team focused on digital transformation and analytics across maintenance, capital projects and operations. He provides leadership and expertise in many areas including portfolio management, project management and controls, scope management and planning for turnarounds, digital strategy, and technology selection, implementation and adoption. Mr. Fultz also provides professional services related to business process improvement, organizational design and technology enablement to help clients work safer, improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and provide more predictable outcomes.
Mr. Fultz has served in a variety of capacities to lead and support the delivery of large projects, programs and portfolios. His knowledge of project controls has allowed him to serve as the Cost Engineering Lead for a $100M Capital Projects Turnaround Program, serve as the Integrated Turnaround Cost Assurance Lead, and to deliver enterprise wide training on the AACEi Total Cost Management Framework. Mr. Fultz’s background in project delivery coupled with his experience in information technology has established him as a leader in digital transformation, where he has designed, built, implemented, and configured a breadth of project portfolio management and controls technologies – including custom solutions as well as industry leaders Oracle Primavera and Hexagon PPM EcoSys. By applying his breadth of experience, Mr. Fultz has helped organizations minimize delays, maximize field productivity and improve the overall value of project portfolios and operations.
