Peter Vosbikian is a Senior Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Philadelphia. He is a member of the Construction Solutions and Government Contracts group. He has more than 20 years of experience in engineering, construction, claims analysis and litigation support. His areas of expertise include contract dispute resolution, construction claims, construction advisory and claims avoidance services, CPM scheduling, document development, and training seminars. Mr. Vosbikian has prepared and analyzed construction claims related to scope changes, schedule delay impacts and extended performance, lost productivity, disruptive impacts, and damages. He has worked in virtually every market segment with all industry stakeholders, including owners, developers, contractors, architects, insurance companies and their counsel.
Mr. Vosbikian has consulted with clients on a wide range of projects, including commercial buildings, transportation projects, prison facilities, power plants and industrial plants. His project experience includes oil and gas pipeline projects, chemical and fuel refineries, water treatment facilities, resort facilities, sports arenas, hotels, landfills, bridges, airports, correctional centers, residential complexes as well as other facilities in the public and private sectors. He has worked with clients providing guidance on how to avoid disputes and manage risk. Should disputes arise, Mr. Vosbikian has many years of experience in performing schedule delay analysis and quantifying the effects of delay, disruption and productivity loss.
Mr. Vosbikian is an experienced technical writer known for preparing expert reports and presenting claims issues and conclusions in a dynamic, logical, easy-to-understand manner. He has testified in bench trial litigation and has also had extensive involvement with negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations. His experience has involved reviewing and analyzing project documentation and data, preparing as-built schedules, performing schedule delay analysis, technical issue analysis, and loss of productivity analysis, and presenting those conclusions in the dispute resolution environment. Mr. Vosbikian has presented in seminars for Lorman Education, WPL Publishing, Construction Claims Monthly, as well as the American Bar Association, Forum on Construction Law.
Mr. Vosbikian received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Widener University, and is a Certified Forensic Claims Consultant, and a Certified Cost Professional.
