William Tusa is a Senior Managing Director in the Construction Solutions practice within the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment at FTI Consulting. He is based in Houston.
Mr. Tusa has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry and specializes in the preparation, monitoring and analysis of schedules and programs for construction projects both nationally and internationally. He has provided program advisory services to executive level leadership and construction management personnel in the areas of process improvement, performance evaluation, CPM development, change order analysis, claim preservation and prevention, cost assessment, project control (cost and schedule) implementation, contract management, dispute resolution and project close out.
Mr. Tusa has over 27 years of experience providing strategic project advice. He represents clients in the construction industry throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, South America and the Caribbean. Mr. Tusa’s construction industry experience and dispute resolution on large complex construction projects has created significant value for clients through the preparation of expert reports, construction cost analysis, productivity tracking and measurement, and expert testimony regarding schedule delay. He has provided advisory services to both private and governmental sectors.
Mr. Tusa’s services include organizational readiness assessments, contract development and management, capital project risk management, improvement of project delivery, performance/progress monitoring, cost analysis, implementation of project controls and dispute resolution.
Mr. Tusa attended State University of New York, Farmingdale, where he studied Electrical Engineering Technology. He has been examined and certified by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineers in the area of planning and scheduling.
