FTI Consulting Honored for Pro Bono Contributions to Friends of Firefighters

Washington, D.C., Dec. 7, 2022 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that the firm received the Step-Up Award from Friends of Firefighters for its pro bono contributions to the organization.

Friends of Firefighters is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that provides independent, confidential and free mental health counseling and wellness services to active and retired New York City Fire Department (“FDNY”) firefighters and their family members. The Step-Up award is given to individuals, groups or organizations that lend a helping hand when it is needed most.

The FTI Consulting team provided social, digital, accounting and financial control services to Friends of Firefighters to help the organization more effectively reach the populations it aims to serve and optimize internal operations. With FTI Consulting’s help, Friends of Firefighters increased and advanced its social media and digital presence, provided financial reports on a timely basis and improved financial controls.
