FTI Consulting’s Middle East Corporate Finance & Restructuring Practice Continues to Grow with Two Managing Director Appointments
Abu Dhabi and Dubai, 9 August 2021 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the continued expansion of its Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment in the Middle East with the appointments of Ryan Holmes and Oliver Carter as Managing Directors.
Mr. Holmes, who joins FTI Consulting in Abu Dhabi, enhances the firm’s Business Transformation practice in the Middle East. Mr. Carter, who transferred from the London office of FTI Consulting to Dubai, adds to the firm’s restructuring capabilities for clients across the region.
As a senior member of the firm’s Business Transformation practice, Mr. Holmes will focus on providing transformational change and strategic consulting services to Middle East clients across a wide range of industries. He will also help further develop FTI Consulting’s capabilities in the Middle East, specifically in the energy and utilities sector.
Mr. Holmes has advised some of the world’s most prominent oil and gas and utilities clients on their large-scale, complex transformation programs. These have included digital strategies, operational transformation programs as well as new business and function establishment and new market and segment entry. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Holmes held several leadership roles at a leading digital consultancy and a Big 4 business in the UK and the Middle East.

Mr. Carter, who relocated from FTI Consulting’s London office to Dubai, has more than 16 years of professional experience in financial restructuring advisory for stakeholders of distressed businesses. Mr. Carter’s assignments range from corporate-side interim and support roles to undertaking independent business reviews and assessing the options for stakeholders of distressed businesses. On both sides of the transaction, Mr. Carter works collaboratively with management teams to ensure there is a robust information platform to support a transaction. He is a member of the Institute for Turnaround and a Chartered Certified Accountant.
