FTI Consulting Strengthens Financial Services Advisory Capabilities With Three Senior Hires
Appointments Add Expertise in Banking Regulation, Liquidity and Treasury Risk Management, and Payments Strategy and Operations

Mr. Amerasinghe, who is based in Washington, D.C., joins FTI Consulting from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where he served as a national bank examiner leading supervisory examinations of financial institutions ranging from community banks to large regional organizations. He brings more than 15 years of experience in enterprise risk management, information technology, banking regulation, regulatory compliance, novel bank supervision, and chartering.
In his role at FTI Consulting, he will advise community and regional banks on bank chartering, de novo applications, banking-as-a-service programs, digital asset custody, stablecoin-related activities and fintech partnerships, providing clients with a practical understanding of both supervisory expectations and execution challenges.
Mr. Pandey, who is based in Miami, is a treasury risk leader with extensive experience advising large U.S. and global financial institutions on liquidity risk management, treasury transformation, asset-liability management, funding strategy, derivatives and capital markets risk, stress testing and balance sheet optimization.
At FTI Consulting, Mr. Pandey will help lead the firm’s Treasury Risk offering, advising clients on liquidity resilience, funding and balance sheet strategy, treasury modernization and the implications of emerging financial infrastructure, including digital payment rails, stablecoins, tokenized deposits and AI-enabled treasury capabilities.
Ms. Randhawa, who is based in Washington, D.C., is a payments executive specializing in driving growth and innovation for banks, fintechs and payment companies. She bridges strategy, operations, technology and risk to lead large-scale transformation and modernization initiatives, including the launch of new products and lines of business. She also advises clients on acquisitions – identifying targets, leading due diligence and overseeing merger integrations.
At FTI Consulting, she will advise clients on payments strategy, products and rails, merchant acquiring, digital assets and M&A, helping them navigate the rapidly evolving payments landscape.
