FTI Consulting Strengthens Its Change Management and People-Focused Offerings With the Appointment of Carolyn Hudson
WASHINGTON, D.C., Nov. 7, 2018 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE:FCN) today announced the appointment of Carolyn Hudson as a Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment, further strengthening the firm’s change management and people-focused offerings. She will be based in New York City and report to Brian Kennedy, the segment’s Head of the Americas.
Ms. Hudson will serve as the Americas Head of the firm’s People & Change practice, which partners with communications, human resources, C-suite and business leaders who are driving transformational change endeavors. She will work closely with Leslie Benson, the Global Head of the practice, and Angie Gorman, a senior leader in the practice, along with many other experts across FTI Consulting’s international network.
“Corporate leaders need the understanding, engagement and support of their employees and partners to navigate critical moments of change, such as a merger, restructuring, organizational redesign or crisis response,” said Mr. Kennedy. “Carolyn’s expertise and experience will further enhance our ability to serve our clients at a time when workplace dynamics are rapidly changing and internal communications, employee engagement and change management are more important than ever.”
Ms. Hudson brings more than 25 years of deep expertise partnering with Fortune 500 companies – both in-house and as a consultant. Her range of expertise includes mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”), culture transformation, employee engagement, internal communications, internal social media and technology roll-outs.
Ms. Hudson was most recently an Executive Vice President in Weber Shandwick’s Employee Engagement & Change Management practice. She began her management consulting career at Accenture, where she was a senior leader in the global Change Management practice and internal marketing organization for 11 years. While there, she was instrumental in helping to launch the firm’s Change Management offering.
