Lauren Cavanaugh Discusses the Inflationary Risks Facing Insurance Carriers
Washington, D.C., July 19, 2022 — Senior Managing Director Lauren Cavanaugh spoke to Law360 about the inflationary risks facing insurance carriers and discussed how insurers could potentially hedge against these risks. She noted that the way insurers respond to inflation could differ depending on the underlying cause, such as temporary increased demand after a storm. “That might be perceived as a relatively short-term concern, which would be considered differently than if the drivers are more broad and potentially long-lasting,” she said.
