Procurement Expert Pravin Khandare Joins FTI Consulting as Managing Director
Washington, D.C., May 2, 2022 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Pravin Khandare as a Managing Director within the firm’s Business Transformation practice, where he will focus on performance improvement for sourcing and procurement organizations.
Based in New York, Mr. Khandare brings years of experience building, transforming and leading procurement organizations for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, consumer products, chemicals and industrial companies. He provides expertise in strategic procurement; category management; supplier relationship management; supplier-enabled innovation; environmental, social and governance; organizational operating models; and operational excellence through procure-to-pay processes, enhanced compliance and controls, and improved materials risk management.
At FTI Consulting, Mr. Khandare will advise clients on transforming sourcing, supply chain and operations, with a focus on the healthcare, consumer products and energy industries.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Khandare was Chief Procurement Officer at Biogen, where he led transformation of the procurement organization, including establishing global and standardized processes and policies, improving spend data transparency and analytics, restructuring the procurement organization operating model while improving functional capabilities. Before that, Mr. Khandare held various senior leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, where he led procurement organizations and helped drive higher value through standardized and simplified sourcing practices. He also led the design and implementation of the supply chain procurement organization operating model across Johnson & Johnson’s business units.
Mr. Khandare has previous experience working at professional services firms, where he advised several Fortune 50 clients and state governments on operations improvement, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, supply risk management and value creation.
