Subscription Economy Pioneer Peter Doucette Joins FTI Consulting

Washington, D.C., July 17, 2018 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Peter Doucette as a Managing Director in the Publishing group of the Telecommunications, Media & Technology (“TMT”) practice, continuing the firm’s investment in its Business Transformation offering and bringing more than 20 years of business transformation expertise to subscription-based organizations. He specializes in identifying, developing and enabling strategies for the subscriber economy, which impacts a wide range of industries, including publishing, retail, media and entertainment and technology. He will be based in Boston.

Mr. Doucette joins FTI Consulting from The Boston Globe, where he served as Chief Consumer Revenue Officer and was responsible for all revenue growth, P&L management, digital integration, product strategy, subscription sales and consumer experience. At the Globe, he developed a new business model for media companies that included an industry-leading paid subscription model and dual-website strategy.

At FTI Consulting, Mr. Doucette will work with newspaper and magazine publishers, as well as other organizations with subscriber-based business models, to accelerate the consumer monetization journey and develop appropriate digital strategies.
