Aamena Nagdee

Aamena Nagdee is a Senior Managing Director in the Corporate Finance segment based in Johannesburg. Ms. Nagdee is a member of the Restructuring practice specializing in Transaction Services.

Ms. Nagdee is a qualified Chartered Accountant (“CA”) with more than 15 years of experience in providing buy-side and sell-side due diligence assignments across all industry sectors working for both strategic and financial buyers to local and international clients. Her industry experience includes logistics, industrial, retail, telecommunications, insurance, mining, private equity and capital markets. She has served clients in several countries across the rest of Africa, including Kenya, Nigeria and Botswana.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Nagdee was part of the Industrial and Automotive Audit department at KPMG. During this time, she audited clients across the manufacturing, retail, construction, and automotive sectors. After completing her articles, Ms. Nagdee joined the Deal Advisory department in Johannesburg. She has also assisted clients with other transaction services assignments, including profitability studies, working capital reviews and stock exchange compliance work.

Ms. Nagdee undertook buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity firms like Ethos, RMB Corvest and Old Mutual Private Equity. She holds a B.Com. in Accounting from Wits University, a B.Com Honors degree from the University of Southern Africa, and an M.B.A. Essentials from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
