Alexander Haley

Alexander Haley is a Managing Director in the Turnaround & Restructuring practice. Mr. Haley is experienced in providing 13-week cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, bankruptcy preparation and reporting, transaction and business plan diligence, and operational support services to clients in various industries. He has worked on multiple company-side advisory engagements in the retail and consumer products space, including both in-court and out-of-court restructurings.

Mr. Haley specializes in providing advisory services to companies and creditors in financial restructurings and operational turnarounds. He has significant experience in liquidity management, bankruptcy readiness and finance operational support services in both in-court and out-of-court scenarios. While he focuses on retail, consumer products and food and beverage companies, he has advised companies and creditors across industries including technology, software, business process outsourcing (“BPO”) services, marketing and manufacturing.

Mr. Haley has worked with CFOs and other senior finance leaders to develop robust 13-week cash flow forecasts and long-term financial models. He has assisted debtors in Chapter 11 preparation, including credit agreement negotiation and court document development, debtor-in-possession (“DIP”) financing analysis and forecasting, operational stabilization and 363 sale support during bankruptcy. Additionally, Mr. Haley has advised lenders in performing detailed transaction and financial diligence on business plans and distressed situations. He has also advised management teams on identifying and implementing liquidity management and operational improvement initiatives.

Mr. Haley holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with honors. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he worked in a strategic role for SunTrust Bank.

He has also worked on several confidential matters for companies and lenders in industries such as consumer fitness equipment, consumer technology products, beer manufacturing, nutritional supplement manufacturing, beauty product manufacturing, dairy and poultry production, BPO services and outdoor advertising.
