Dr. Alexander Keller

Alexander Keller provides 30 years of professional experience consulting the global chemical industry in all aspects of strategy, business transformation, performance improvement and sustainability. Alexander’s clients comprise large and mid-sized European chemical companies, as well as well-known Asian and U.S.-headquartered players and private equity owners.

Alexander’s project portfolio encompasses application- and technology-driven growth projects, portfolio and asset footprint optimization as well as comprehensive bottom- and top-line performance improvement programs targeting both short-term as well as long-term, structural improvements. In doing so, he has covered a broad variety of chemical sub-sectors including petrochemicals, plastics, intermediates, specialty and consumer chemicals.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Alexander held senior leadership positions at leading international strategy consulting and professional services firms, serving as Senior Partner as well as Partner and Industry Specialist Director.

• Various strategy and portfolio optimization projects across the entire chemicals value chain, including M&A as well
• Serving as Chief Transformation Officer (“CTO”) in the board of an international chemical company
• Various buy- and sell-side due diligence engagements for strategic and financial investors
• Various bottom- and top-line improvement programs covering product portfolio, asset footprint, organization, target operating model and business processes
• Several projects covering the entire M&A life cycle, from strategy and target/buyer identification to deal execution, integration support and subsequent synergy realization
