Amanda Orenstein

Amanda Orenstein is a member of FTI Consulting’s Senior Lender Advisory practice. Ms. Orenstein has experience providing financial and strategic solutions to company management, creditors and investors of distressed companies through both in and out-of-court processes. She has served as an advisor on behalf of company management and sponsors, senior lenders and unsecured creditors, advising on various aspects of strategic, financial and operational restructurings.

Ms. Orenstein’s experience includes preparing and reviewing financial cash forecasts and business plans, waterfall recovery models, liquidation analyses, debtor-in-possession financing arrangements, investigations of causes of action, retention and incentive plans, restructuring plans of reorganization and evaluations of strategic alternatives. A representative list of engagements that Ms. Orenstein has served includes advising the senior secured lenders of 2U, AgileThought, American Commercial Lines, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Custom Made Meals, Envision Healthcare, Imperial Plastics, Millenkamp Cattle, Nautical Solutions and Regis.

Ms. Orenstein has also advised the unsecured creditors of Brazos Electric Power Cooperative, California Resources, Covia Holdings, EXCO Resources, Legacy Reserves, Sanchez Energy, Seadrill Ltd and Valaris plc, as well as the management teams of a large confidential public restaurant franchisor and large public appliance manufacturer, among others.

Ms. Orenstein graduated cum laude from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where she received her B.B.A. with a double concentration in Finance and Strategy & Management Consulting.
