About Amy
Amy Conway is a Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is a member of the Energy & Natural Resources practice within the Strategic Communications segment.
Ms. Conway specializes in communications planning and strategies for companies developing and permitting large-scale energy and infrastructure projects — including pipelines, mines, liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) terminals and offshore drilling fields. This support includes crisis communications planning and response, advocacy program development, media relations, third-party mobilization and community outreach. She has supported megaprojects across the United States, including a number of high-profile projects in Alaska.
In addition to her work on megaprojects, Ms. Conway has supported energy clients facing a wide range of complex crises, including cyber attacks, congressional investigations, personnel issues, major litigation and operational incidents.
Ms. Conway also has extensive experience working for large energy trade associations and has worked on multiple successful advocacy campaigns for corporate clients while at FTI Consulting, including the Producers for American Crude Exports (“PACE”), the Arctic Energy Center (“AEC”), Texans for Natural Gas and the Center for Regulatory Solutions (“CRS”).
A Texas native, Ms. Conway spent several years honing her oil and gas operational knowledge in FTI Consulting’s Houston office before moving to Washington D.C. She now splits her time between Texas and D.C.
