Ana Lucía Lenis

Ana Lucía Lenis is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (“TMT”) practice. Ms. Lenis specializes in public affairs, policy and regulation for regulated industries and emerging markets and has extensive experience in technology, media and telecommunications, as well as the public sector. She advises clients on navigating complex regulatory environments and shaping policy strategies across Latin America and Europe.

Ms. Lenis has more than 20 years of experience leading government affairs and public policy initiatives in key markets throughout the region. She has managed large-scale, multi-country programs involving diverse stakeholders and has built and scaled public–private partnerships with governments, civil society and development banks. Her work has advanced initiatives in digital skills, education, emergency response and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Before joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Lenis led Google’s policy team for Spanish-speaking Latin America and was a member of the company’s Emerging Markets Policy Leadership Team. She previously served in senior policy roles within regulatory agencies and major telecommunications carriers, gaining a deep understanding of the intersection between technology, competition and public interest regulation.

Ms. Lenis is Colombian and holds an LL.B. in Law and an LL.M. in Administrative Law from Javeriana University in Bogotá, along with an M.A. in Economics, Regulation & Competition in Public Services from Barcelona University. She continues to contribute to global policy discussions as part of Google’s Emerging Markets Policy Leadership Team.
