Andre Manitiu

André Manitiu has nearly 20 years of experience assisting corporate healthcare clients develop and implement various financial strategies for turnarounds, restructurings and operational improvements. Mr. Manitiu also has experience leading pre-merger M&A due diligence and post-merger integration.

Mr. Manitiu has broad exposure across the healthcare industry, including life sciences, physician practice managements (“PPMs”) companies, acute care providers, payors and healthcare services companies, including private, public and private equity-owned companies. He has extensive capabilities in navigating clients through organizational uncertainty and financial difficulty, as well as driving implementation of performance improvement initiatives and positioning companies for successful sale or capital raising processes.

Mr. Manitiu has led various types of projects driving value across organizations, including corporate strategy, operational assessments, performance improvement and Office of the CFO capabilities such as budgeting, long-range forecasting, 13-week cash flow management, finance operations assessments, organizational benchmarking and KPI management reporting. In transaction support, Mr. Manitiu advised more than $13 billion in M&A and financing transactions. His experience in corporate turnarounds and restructurings includes Unsecured Creditors’ Committee advisory, debtor advisory and completing Section 363 asset sales.

Mr. Manitiu’s representative work includes serving as interim Finance Manager for a health plan, and interim Head of Risk Adjustment for a value-based kidney care company. Other representative work includes providing various operational and financial advisory services to clients including life sciences companies, PPMs across specialties including primary care, vision, dental and multi-site providers including hospitals and health systems, as well as payors.

Prior to his role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Manitiu was Senior Vice President of Performance Management at Somatus. Before that, he worked in the health industry group at Alvarez & Marshal and held investment banking roles at UBS and Bank of America.
