Andrea Ruza Araujo

Andrea Ruza is an Associate Director of Construction, Projects & Assets at FTI Consulting, and a project engineer with more than 10 years of experience in managing and developing digital projects.

Andrea specializes in implementing robust software solutions like Oracle Primavera Unifier, Open Platform Communications (“OPC”) and EcoSys in the mining, food, oil and gas and highway sectors. She has a strong track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and applying agile methodologies (Scrum, design thinking) and Project Management Institute (“PMI”) best practices. Her focus is on managing scope, user training and executing organizational change management (OCM) plans with a client-centric approach.

At FTI Consulting, Andrea is responsible for leading the implementation of robust project control software. She has supported and executed strategic plans for OCM to ensure successful adoption of new systems. She has also trained more than 500 users in Oracle and Ecosys and manages User Acceptance Testing (“UAT”). She serves as the direct communication link between clients and configurators, overseeing project deliverables, timelines and billing to meet client and FTI Consulting standards.

Prior to her current role, Andrea was technology manager at PANGEIA.ECO, a sustainability-focused marketplace startup incubated by KPMG Brazil, and was project coordinator for gas pipeline projects at Keups Diseño y Construcciones, C.A. She also worked as a junior engineer on the Parque Eolic Project from 2010 to 2011.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Andrea was also a project coordinator and technical lead at Radix Engenharia e Software, where she led software operations and development in the oil and gas and highway sectors. She worked with agile teams, applying Scrum practices to ensure value delivery and planned client project portfolios. She also managed stakeholder communication and oversaw the management of deliverables, scope and project quality. As a senior product owner at the same company, she was responsible for understanding the client’s needs, setting a clear product vision and managing the product backlog. She also administered the product’s scope to prevent changes that could jeopardize schedules or quality. Andrea speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
