About Angus
Angus Wilson leads the Europe, Middle East and Asia (“EMEA”) Infrastructure Tax Advisory Practice at FTI Consulting.
Angus has more than 27 years of experience providing M&A, transactions and international tax advice to clients with assets in the Asia-Pacific, Australia and Europe regions. His proven track record includes advising infrastructure investors, multinational corporations, private equity funds and governments on investments, structuring and modelling for projects across a range of sectors.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Angus was a partner and the deal advisory tax lead for KPMG Australia, the Asia and Pacific leader for M&A Tax for KPMG globally,and a tax partner at KPMG London. Whilst in Australia he led the National Transaction Services Valuations Practice and M&A tax practice. Previously, Angus served as EMEA Chief Financial Officer and head of Tax at the asset management group.
Angus has acted for a number of sovereign and overseas investors on the resolution of tax matters with the Australian Taxation Office and other tax authorities around the world. This work has related both to transactional matters and to ongoing tax matters such as funding, pricing of debt and related party arrangements.
Angus’s clients have included many high profile clients in the Private Equity Infrastructure Investment and Energy sectors globally.
