Antonetta Carroll

Antonetta Carroll is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment with more than 18 years of experience specialising in corporate recovery and restructuring matters. She has worked alongside directors, boards, financiers and stakeholders of underperforming organisations to stabilise operations, preserve value and deliver restructuring outcomes that balance competing interests.

Antonetta’s strength lies in her ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and provide practical, solutions-driven advice. She has acted across the full spectrum of Australia’s insolvency and corporate recovery landscape — from formal insolvency appointments and safe harbour engagements to advice on restructuring alternatives, recapitalisation, refinancing and independent business reviews.

Antonetta is passionate about workplace culture and regularly contributes to the topic across the restructuring and insolvency industry. She is a representative on the Western Australia (‘WA’) Turnaround Management Association (‘TMA’) committee and a member of FTI Consulting’s Women’s Initiative (‘FTI WIN’).

Relevant Experience:

• Voluntary administration of Panoramic Resources Limited; enabled the successful restructure and recapitalisation of a nickel mine in the north of WA in a declining nickel market
• Receivership of Rivet Mining Services, a WA-based haulage company employing more than 340 professionals; resulted in an organised wind-down and sale of more than AUD40 million of haulage assets
• Distressed business sale of an iconic WA food manufacturer; provided safe harbour review and stakeholder advisory in support of the successful sale and recapitalisation of the business
• Restructuring advice to various ASX-listed clients within the protection of safe harbour legislation, working directly with executive management and boards to assess implementation of restructuring and turnaround plans

Numerous independent business reviews on behalf of secured financiers, with debt ranging from AUD1 million to AUD120 million, across a wide range of industries including automotive, engineering and civil contracting, IT business solutions, mining and mining services, and property investment and development
