Arjun Bolangdy

Arjun Bolangdy is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Transformation practice, with a focus on private equity in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”). Arjun brings 15 years of technology leadership experience both within industry and as an advisor.

Arjun has extensive experience across the entire private equity deal cycle. His expertise spans due diligence, complex carve-outs, digital strategy and AI implementation. He has worked on over 70 transactions, with a total enterprise value (“EV”) of circa $60 billion across software, industrials and services businesses.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Arjun was a Director in EY-Parthenon’s Private Equity Technology practice, advising private equity and corporate investors on technology acquisitions, divestments and value creation initiatives. Earlier in his career, Arjun held technology leadership roles in industry, managing and implementing enterprise applications such as SAP, enterprise resource planning and Salesforce customer relationship management.

Arjun holds an M.B.A. from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering in India.

Relevant Experience:

• Provided insights on technology estate and assessment of value creation opportunities on buy-side technology and software diligence of a fund administration software business
• Provided buy-side technology and software diligence for an education technology business with various products and services deployed in educational institutions and schools
• Conducted buy-side AI value creation diligence of a UK-based professional services business, including identification of value creation initiatives and sizing of run rate/ EBITDA benefits and one-off implementation costs
• Led sell-side technology carve-out for an aircraft manufacturing business unit from a multinational aerospace and defence business
• Delivered buy-side carve-out and technology diligence of an e-commerce classifieds and marketplace platform from a global marketplace business
