Arnab Lahiri specializes in helping companies with operational transformation, cost structure optimization and revenue growth. Mr. Lahiri partners with senior executives on comprehensive assessments, due diligences and projects focused on performance improvement to strengthen short- and long-term profitability.
With more than 15 years of experience across large public and private equity (“PE”) portfolio companies, Mr. Lahiri focuses on translating complex strategic challenges into actionable and measurable initiatives, ranging from large-scale turnaround initiatives to due diligences and post-merger integrations.
Mr. Lahiri’s expertise spans operations and supply chain management, where he develops collaborative strategies and data-driven solutions. His work focuses on structural cost reduction, business process design and improvement, and manufacturing and operational excellence. He also specializes in supply chain planning, stock keeping unit (“SKU”) and customer analytics, inventory and working capital optimization, and sourcing and procurement.
Additionally, Mr. Lahiri is highly experienced in performing organization design assessments, providing M&A and carve-out support across the PE deal cycle and undertaking interim roles to own and deliver turnaround projects. During his career at FTI Consulting, he has served clients in manufacturing and industrials, food and beverage, technology products and services, medical devices, transportation and logistics, and retail and consumer products.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Lahiri was part of the Strategy & Growth practice of Barkawi Management Consultants in North America.
Relevant Experience:
- Led diligence and transformation assessments for several PE-owned portfolio companies across industrial products, food and beverage, medical devices and technology products, focused on improving cost structures across planning, manufacturing, sourcing, delivery and transportation
- Led selling, general and administrative (“SG&A”) cost assessments and optimization initiatives for companies in the technology-enabled services industry
- Designed a post-acquisition U.S. manufacturing, international supply chain and delivery network for a medical devices company, advising leadership through a multi-month design and separation process following a carve-out from one of the largest global companies in the industry
- Led operational transformations for multiple food, beverage and supplements manufacturers supplying fresh and packaged foods to top-five U.S. retail customers; included new facility selection, ramp-ups, network design and planning
- Managed a PE portfolio company’s new facility investment post-acquisition as interim director of operations; supported new product commercialization and onboarding of national retail customers for a new category launch while maintaining day-to-day operations
