Arthur Chiles

Arthur Chiles is a Managing Director in the Strategic Communications practice at FTI Consulting, serving clients in the Washington, D.C. metro region, including Maryland and Virginia. With nearly 20 years of experience in advisory roles, Mr. Chiles has strategically guided business and governmental leaders through change and process improvement initiatives with a steady hand. He helps his clients understand the criticality of comprehensive change and project management methodologies through two-way dialogue and collaboration.

Mr. Chiles employs his expertise in strategic planning, organizational transformation, training (coaching, learning and development), facilitation and go-to-market (“GTM”) strategies to enable stakeholders to reach their corporate goals. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Chiles led many human capital-focused engagements for several consulting firms, including PwC, Guidehouse and Perot Systems Government Services. He has advised clients across public and private sector operating environments, where he built award-winning, best-fit change and communications strategies to support cross-functional interdependencies.

In the public sector, Mr. Chiles’ strategic planning project work has been recognized in the highest levels of government, with accolades from Congress and the Executive Office of the President of the United States. He has experience driving desired project outcomes across a variety of disciplinary and business areas, such as civil rights and human services, healthcare, transportation IT, aviation, energy, defense/national defense, procurement and retail.

Mr. Chiles holds a B.F.A. from Salisbury University with a concentration in Visual Communications via Graphic Design. He utilizes this knowledge to complement engagements under his stewardship with compelling visualizations that improve audiences’ reception of intended messaging. He is also certified in business process analysis and ReVision™ change management approaches.
