Ashish Vyas specializes in developing and implementing efficient processes for the review and production of electronic data. Mr. Vyas brings more than 15 years of experience in providing e-discovery services to law firms and corporations. His clients rely on him to proactively handle and solve challenges relating to emerging data sources and develop innovative solutions that reduce overall discovery costs. He provides consulting services in litigation and investigations for clients across a range of industries, including automotive, banking, telecommunications and pharmaceutical.
Mr. Vyas’s experience includes developing efficient review workflows and applying predictive coding methodologies in high-pressure HSR Second Requests and other legal and regulatory matters. He works closely with clients to apply advanced tools, such as Brainspace, to meet complex production specifications for large volumes of data under compressed deadlines. His deep understanding of the technical challenges and best practices in e-discovery serves as a foundation for providing clients with strategic leadership during Second Requests and a variety of other matter types. Mr. Vyas has extensive expertise in liaising with and navigating document production requirements from the SEC, FTC and DOJ.
Mr. Vyas is also an expert in creating data re-use solutions that ensure consistent treatment of similar documents by leveraging prior work in related matters. In addition to helping clients reduce costs through data-reuse strategies, Mr. Vyas advises clients on techniques that maximize and align resources to meet discovery deadlines.
Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Vyas worked at Dechert LLP, where he focused on e-discovery matters for mass tort and product liability clients. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Boston University, a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, and a LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He is a member of the New York State Bar.

- Managed numerous teams and workflows in a large multidistrict litigation for a media industry client. Applied advanced analytics and bespoke workflows to process, analyze and review a massive document population.
- Served as a leader in a large Second Request involving significant cross-border implications. In addition to meeting the demands of the Second Request and U.S. regulators, he navigated numerous requirements from the European Commission’s DG Comp agency and the U.K.’s Competition and Markets Authority.
