Audrey Abbott

Audrey Abbott is a civil engineer and Project Management Professional (“PMP”) with more than 15 years of experience in construction, infrastructure design and environmental consulting. Ms. Abbott specializes in avoidance and resolution of disputes and other crises that arise in construction and engineering contracts, projects and organizations.

After working as a construction contract manager and within project management, Ms. Abbott has an intimate understanding of contract and project management processes and objectives developed by both study and practice. Along with her strong analytical and technical background in engineering and mathematics, she has intensive experience with project controls, complex changes in scope, cost and time estimation and impact analysis, proposal development and contract negotiation.

Ms. Abbott’s background and experience provide a solid foundation for her advisory, claims and expert witness work in delay and quantum analysis. She has worked on matters concerning projects valued in excess of €6 billion and disputed values of more than €700 million located across Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Poland, Taiwan, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States.

Through her contributions to both public and private projects, Ms. Abbott has experience with commercial and residential sites, buildings and systems, civil infrastructure including water, wastewater and stormwater systems, energy infrastructure including on- and offshore wind and conventional power plants, industrial infrastructure including oil and gas and petrochemical facilities, technology, rolling stock and environmental consulting matters.

Ms. Abbott holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Texas Tech University, an M.S. in Construction and Real Estate Management from the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (University for Engineering and Economics) Berlin and is certified by the Project Management Institute (“PMI”) as a PMP.
