Brent Worthy is a member of the Office of the CFO Solutions practice. Over the past 15+ years, he has primarily focused on transforming and elevating the finance function of both public and private corporations through developing next-generation finance strategy, operating model transformation and organizational design, M&A strategy and execution, performance improvement initiatives, and deploying both traditional and digital tools and technologies. Mr. Worthy has significant experience in the use of RPA and cognitive automation, predictive analytics and forecasting, data visualization, cloud migration and the use of blockchain in the finance space, as well as developing digital governance structure and capabilities.
Mr. Worthy rejoined FTI Consulting after spending seven years in Deloitte’s Finance & Enterprise performance practice where he partnered with global Fortune 500 clients in need of similar services and support. During his previous time at FTI, Mr. Worthy was part of the Corporate Restructuring practice where he focused on financial restructuring and operational turnaround services for underperforming and distressed companies, as well as significant lender and private equity advisory roles.
Mr. Worthy’s experience spans numerous industries, including technology, media and telecommunications, life sciences, energy, manufacturing and distribution, automotive and financial services.
- Led a digital finance transformation roadmap for a $90 billion enterprise solutions, hardware and software company (post-integration), with a primary focus on finance master data and governance; included within this work was the development of the client’s “Digital Nerve Center,” which is the governing body that collaborates and coordinates with IT and other functions to enable its digital journey
- Helped a newly carved-out client in the medical technology sector re-design it’s external and management reporting packages, while redesigning and harmonizing underlying data models from legacy acquisitions
- Led the finance separation and deal execution workstreams for an $8 billion software company, while also transforming the finance function across people, process and technology
- Assisted a global technology client in assessing and prioritizing an RPA deployment roadmap in the finance function to create additional effectiveness and efficiency in a number of highly manual and transaction process areas
