Cedric Burgher specializes in transaction advisory in the energy industry. Mr. Burgher brings more than 30 years of experience in the energy and financial services sectors, including more than a decade serving as a chief financial officer (“CFO”) for public and private companies.
Mr. Burgher has unique experience with opportunities facing the energy industry, spanning from traditional oil and gas to transition energy such as carbon management, renewable natural gas and renewable biomass. As a CFO or corporate executive, he has executed IPOs, spinoffs and a broad range of M&A and capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Burgher served as CFO at Occidental Petroleum, where he led the financing for its acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum, which included the industry’s largest-ever bond offering, term loan and oil hedge position.
Mr. Burgher’s previous roles include serving as Senior Vice President, Investor and Public Relations of EOG Resources, CFO of QR Energy L.P., CFO of KBR, Inc., CFO of Burger King Corporation, and VP Treasurer/IR at Halliburton Company.
