Charles Goad

Chuck Goad has 25 years of financial and accounting experience, providing financial and strategic solutions to companies, creditors and stakeholders. Mr. Goad’s industry expertise includes work across the healthcare, distribution, retail, chemicals and manufacturing sectors, among many others.

Mr. Goad has served in interim management positions as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), Chief Restructuring Officer (“CRO”) and similar positions, leading the daily operations of the accounting, finance and treasury functions. His expertise includes strategic planning, budgeting, financial forecasting and cash flow management, as well as the execution of financial and operational performance improvement plans.

Mr. Goad has extensive experience assisting senior management teams and parties-in-interest in the development and implementation of strategic alternatives, revenue-enhancement initiatives and cost-reduction programs. He helps clients by assessing business plans and financial models, preparing financial projections and performing financial analysis.

In addition, Mr. Goad has prepared fully integrated budget plans, liquidity and financial forecasts, as well as weekly treasury cash forecasts for complex, multidivisional businesses. He also has experience in preparing financial and operational assessments, developing road maps and identifying opportunities to quickly improve sustained profitability. Mr. Goad assists clients in identifying and capturing annualized, recurring margin enhancement related to the execution of initiatives, including zero-based budgeting and pricing improvement, as well as procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics and cost optimization.

Mr. Goad has advised clients including RadioShack, Vertellus, American Apparel, Chobani, Celadon and Pilot Flying J, among many others. He has also worked with numerous materials manufacturing and paper production companies, including Delta Woodside, ATC Panels, Imperial Home Décor Group, Blue Ridge Paper and LSC Communications. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Goad spent five years with a boutique turnaround and crisis management firm, in addition to a role in the audit practice of KPMG.
