Chelsea Ye is a recognised specialist in digital forensics and e-discovery, advising law firms and corporate legal counsel on complex, high-stakes litigation, investigations and regulatory matters. Chelsea’s experience spans engagements with regulators, including the SEC, DOJ, SFC and CSRC, where she has navigated intricate cross-border legal and regulatory landscapes.

Chelsea has led numerous high-profile investigations involving anti-fraud, anti-money laundering, IP theft, FCPA and GDPR compliance across a range of industries, including internet, education, financial services and life sciences.

Chelsea's expertise extends to complex cross-border disputes, including matters between U.S. and Chinese companies litigated in U.S. courts, where she has delivered critical forensic analysis and strategic insights.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Chelsea was a Senior Manager at a Big Four accounting firm, guiding cross-border teams through complex forensic and e-discovery mandates. Earlier in her career, she was based in Singapore with an international consulting firm, where she led the computer forensics and e-discovery team and spearheaded market expansion across Greater China and Southeast Asia.

• Directed complex, cross-border e-discovery initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning and technology-assisted review (‘TAR’) to drive efficiency and accuracy; navigated intricate regulatory landscapes by collaborating with Chinese counsel on State Secret and Personal Data Privacy reviews
• Appointed as a court-qualified independent digital forensic examiner for a landmark U.S. litigation and arbitration matter; tasked with directing the end-to-end forensic protocol, including the acquisition, in-depth analysis and expert reporting on evidentiary findings from a vast array of digital devices
• Spearheaded a strategic initiative for a leading global technology company to architect and implement a cutting-edge, in-house e-discovery and data processing framework, establishing a sustainable and scalable foundation for internal investigations and legal matters
