Chris Dekom

Chris Dekom is a member of the Telecom, Media & Technology (“TMT”) practice and has completed more than 100 engagements for companies within the sector.

Mr. Dekom has experience across a broad range of advisory roles, including forecasting and strategic advisory, commercial and financial due diligence, M&A and capital raise advisory, back-up manager securitization services, valuation services, litigation support and restructuring services.

Mr. Dekom’s engagements in entertainment and media have been conducted on behalf of management teams, as well as investors and lenders. Mr. Dekom’s work has encompassed music companies and securitizations, filmed entertainment production and distribution, film and television libraries, digital media, audiobooks, podcasting and sports. His assignments have been used for transaction support, financial planning, securitization monitoring, litigation support, collateral purposes and accounting and tax planning purposes.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Dekom was a Director of Corporate Development at STX Entertainment. Prior to that, Mr. Dekom was an investment banker in the TMT industry groups at Houlihan Lokey and Macquarie Capital. Mr. Dekom holds an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Duke University.
