About Chris
Chris Sammon has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with the first half of his career working for a contractor, primarily in project management, before transitioning to forensic consulting, where he specializes in construction.
Chris’ work in construction spans various industries, from residential to complex industrial projects. Project owners and contractors engage Chris during construction projects as well as after projects enter into disputes to analyze schedule delays, disruptions to work that can lead to inefficiencies and increased cost and construction damages. Chris has provided related opinions as part of arbitration and trial proceedings.
Chris specializes in incorporating contemporaneous project records and witness testimony into his analysis and opinions to provide context to his analysis, which often includes Critical Path Method (“CPM”) schedule analysis and quantification of damages.
Chris started his career in construction with Malcolm Drilling, a heavy civil contractor specializing in deep foundations, earth retention systems and ground improvement, where he gained hands-on experience in estimating, active construction and dispute resolution. Before joining FTI Consulting through an acquisition, he was a project executive at The Rhodes Group, where he began his forensic consulting career.
Chris obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
