Christopher Pierce

Christopher Pierce specializes in both creditor and company-side engagements with an emphasis on senior-lender advisory and interim management.

Mr. Pierce has experience in integrated financial modeling, liquidity analysis, corporate financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”), financial statement analysis and reporting. He has also served in various interim corporate FP&A positions. Mr. Pierce’s industry experience includes oilfield services, engineering and construction, exploration and production (“E&P”), travel and leisure, metals, recycling and chemicals, among others.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Pierce was a Financial Analyst of FP&A for American Beacon Advisors and a Financial Analyst for American Airlines working in corporate FP&A. He holds a B.B.A. from the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University, an M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and is a CFA® charterholder.

• Advised senior lenders of Babcock & Wilcox on financial modeling, covenant forecasting, liquidity analysis and capital structure
• Advised senior secured lenders of C&J Energy Services on financial modeling, liquidity and capital structure
• Advised senior lenders of a $2 billion public midstream company on financial modeling, liquidity forecasting and asset sale analysis
• Advised lending group of a $1 billion public healthcare company on financial modeling, covenant negotiations and liquidity analysis
• Advised lending group of Patriot Coal on capital structure, liquidity and financial performance.
• Advised unsecured creditors of Delta Petroleum on financial performance, covenant compliance and valuation
• Served as Interim Director of Corporate FP&A for a $200 million agricultural chemical company, responsible for forecasting, reporting and cash flow analysis.
• Served as Interim Director of Corporate FP&A for a $12 billion leisure and transportation company, focused on operations analysis, reporting and system implementation
